Apply firm, direct pressure immediately. Stopping the bleeding is the #1 priority.
Cool the burn gently with water and cover it loosely. Never use ice or pop blisters.
Perform abdominal thrusts. If they can’t talk or cough, act immediately.
Lean forward and pinch the soft part of the nose. Leaning back can cause blood to go into the throat.
Lay them flat and lift their legs to restore blood flow to the brain.
Protect their head and clear the area. Do not restrain them or put anything in their mouth.
Add 5 back blows FIRST, then 5 abdominal thrusts
